Strange Attractor's debut LP is a high spirited exercise in associative music-making. 'Rorschach' evolves through an unconventional approach to sound, which retains constant emotional depth. Although often moody and melancholic, the musical setting actually results from the joyful and inspired collaboration between Niels van Hoorn (The Legendary Pink Dots) and M4S resident Richard van Kruysdijk (Sonar Lodge). Guest vocals by Edward Ka-Spel (The Legendary Pink Dots) and Marie-Claudine Vanvlemen (Sonar Lodge) add colour to the rich sound palette of this release. STRANGE ATTRACTOR combine Niels van Hoorn's unique approach to bass clarinet and impressive arsenal of saxaphones and other acoustic and electronic wind instruments and effects with the arranging and production skills of Richard van Kruysdijk, who is also responsible for all other instruments (keyboards, drums, electronics, samples, thumbpiano) and artwork.
