After the release Boonghee music on Scott Herrens Eastern Development label now theres a full length on Soul Jazz! Like built an Ark, Hu Vibrational is another group that is produced by LAs Carlos Nino and it features members of the West Coast left-field Hip-Hop/Electronica community such as Daedelus alongside Adam Rudolph and Hamid Drake. Adam Rudolph and Hamid Drake have between them played and recorded with Pharoah Sanders, Herbie Hancock, Bill Laswell, Jah Wobble, Yusef Lateef, Don Cherry and many more. In itself, this album has quite a minimal approach, mainly centering around the many sorts of african drums played by Hamid & Drake like Tap drums, Udu Drums, Slit drums etc. The many different sounds these drums make merge with Daedaluss guitar playing, the sounds of Kalimbas and flutes and make this album a nice and often laidback listen.
