Second in the ethiopiques vinyl series. Here a collection of 10 tracks from late 60's early 70's Ethiopia selected from the 'Ethiopique' CD's nr 1, 4 & 8. One of the stars of the series Mulatu Astatke has 4 tracks here (including the killer 'Metche Dershe' as sampled by Earl Zinger) and has a hand in as producer / arranger of most of the others. Simply great, and hard to get stuff, funky and hypnotically tuneful.
