'Minstrel Speak' is a hard-hitting and defiant stand against complacency and hypocracy - 'Talkin' loud and sayin' nothin''. Its a spoken word challenge to those who would rather blame than take responsibility. The spoken word come from Philly based Rich Medina, Poet/DJ/Producer and his voice resembles the voice of Gil Scott heron or Michael Franti. The A side is produced by Atlanta duo Kemetic Just in a offbeat house mode supplemented by laidback guitar riffs and sparse percussion, till 'bout halfway the track some extra beats drop in and the track starts rolling... The flipside is produced by label owner Sweet Abraham and kicks off with some vocals by Alma Horton. Big Tip !!!
