Strand returns with a full EP after several remixes for labels as Puzzlebox, Southern Outpost and the new Detroit House label, D.I.S. Strand consists of Brian Bonds and Kech Harrington. In the past they began recording as T.H.D. for Antonio Echols Serious Grooves label. In 1997, under the name Strand, they recorded the Floyd Cramers Revenge EP for Shakes Frictional label, at that time with help from Claude Young as well. In 2001 Frictional also released Strands second EP Message I. In October 2001 Delsin was proud to release Message II and now again, a year later, Message III. Message III is fully filled again with their soulful and funky techno. The tracks end up somewhere between Shakes freestyle beats and CiMs soft electronic excursions. Strings and gentle beats are all around, as also going more uptempo & danceable in the groovy track Vamp. Funky, deep soul techno tracks in good Delsin tradition.
