It's again genre-crossing freakiness. Third Person is Madcap's second exclusive release on Music for Speakers and a foreshadow of their coming album, Terra Firma. Although this EP boasts Madcap's disloyalty to musical genres, there is a thematic link between the four individual tracks. Third Person is about consciously exploring (or nicking) other people's ideas. Madcap produce innovative and original music, but are strongly aware that they are building on foundations which were laid by others. 'Alright, alright - so what's with the fish?'
