The third release on Recloose's Omoa imprint and the first from Detroit's Szymanski ( except for the 'Contentment in Humidity' track that was also featured on the Omoa sampler ) This 12 feat 4 tracks. The A side (my side) has two tracks. 'Lovers Quarrel' is a track about ' the timeless truth that love hurts'. It's a down and out midtempo house track with moody stringwork and features Fragile's John Arnold on guitar. 'Contentment in Humidity' is an atmospheric offbeat downtempo track with warm strings and a trumpetline entering and leaving the mix continuously, later joined by a subtle vocal hook. On the flip there's two mixes from 'Undeniable you' (vocal/instrumental) , which is a hot slice of cutting edge soul with big dancefloor appeal. The track has a catchy synth line and chunky bassline ( bass played by Szymanski himself) and lots of clever breaks. The vocals are done by Malik Alston. Huge tip !!!!
