Tribe is a very obscure Detroit jazz label & is very much comparable to Strata (East) label from Detroit & New York. But Strata East had much better distribution back in the day, so that's why Tribe is relative unknown compared to them. Universal Sound did a compilation a couple of the Tribe label years ago, and Pvine Japan released an updated version of this album. Now Hefty records Chicago thought it was time for another wave of Tribe re-releases. Soon there will be remixes from people like Kirk Degiorgio & Morgan Geist, but first.. the official rereleases of two classic albums. The Time Is Now!
