Joseph White aka Joe White is a foundation of Jamaican music. He started singing in the late 50's and did his first recordings for Duke Reid in the early 60's. While Disco sound was bumping into Jamaican people mind, he formed the group Roots, Trunks & Branches to release several tracks on the label Splendour Heights. “Rising / Power Disco Power” is taken from the album The Weak Will Be Strong released in 1978. A beautiful extended disco reggae tune mainly played by Joe White (drums, piano, vocal). This issue was fully remastered on a disco 45 vinyl record to give respect to the dynamic. On the other side you will get the reggae lovers roots rock tune “Ain't No Way / The Monster”, an extended version with deep dubwise.
