Earlier this year, Reedale Rise (AKA Liverpool retro-futurist Simon Keat) helped inaugurate Riccardo Piazza and Re-Up's When We Met label.

It's fitting, then, that the producer returns to head-up the second edition of the imprint's Future Retro series. Keat does a good job setting the tone, joining the dots between vintage electro, acid psychedelia and '90s intelligent techno on the impeccable "Lucid Flow". 214 follows with the futuristic and Motor City-influenced electro bounce of "Biomes", while MAD wraps woozy, deep space chords around punchy TR-808 drums on "Basic Structures".
