Two Safe Trip Agents May Have Gone Rogue. Our Suspicions Were Aroused When They Failed To Meet With Other Field Agents At The Agreed Rendez-vous Point Early This Morning.

Our Concern Grew When We Discovered A Sealed Package Within The Organisation’s Emergency Safe Deposit Box, Access To Which Is Limited To Our Top Ranking Operatives.

Back At Hq, We Carefully Opened The Package After First Gaining Clearance From Our Bomb Disposal Team. Inside We Discovered A Portable Flash Drive Conatining Three Items: Two Audio Files And A Handwritten Note Featuring The Following Text: “past Fire – Pf100”.

Each Of The Audio Files Contained Basic Meta-data. On Closer Inspection, These Appeared To Contain Elements Of Dutch Made Recordings That First Appeared Sometime In The Late 1980s.

The First File – Working Title “edit” – Features Extensive Vocal Passages And Seems To Be The Work Of The Operative Known As “a.g Christian”. The Second Appears To Have Come From The Studio Of Rogue Agent “y.marco”. Labelled “dub”, It Is Mostly Instrumental Bar One Repeated Phrase: “daylight Comes And We Want To Go Home”.

Both Were Heavily Electronic And Far More Humid In Feel Than We Anticipated. The Widespread Use Of Sound Effects On The Instrumental File, Combined With Extensive Editing And Rearrangement Of Core Elements Throughout, Leads Us To Believe That These Rogue Agents Were Not Only Responsible For The Preparation Of These Audio Files, But Also Sending Us A Message. We Must Now Establish Their Whereabouts As A Matter Of Urgency.
